Matthew's path to becoming an attorney began after he suffered a catastrophic workplace accident that left him paralyzed due to the negligence of others. That life-changing experience inspired him to advocate for others facing similar circumstances.
Before joining Trial Lawyers of Wisconsin, Matthew spent years defending healthcare providers, corporations, municipalities, government entities, and insurance companies in complex civil litigation. He now uses that firsthand insight into how claims are evaluated and defended to advocate for injured individuals and families.
Matthew earned his law degree from Marquette University Law School after receiving his bachelor's degree from Cardinal Stritch University. He is admitted in all Wisconsin state courts, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. He has also been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star.
